LET'S SWING THOSE NAPKINS...

Your wedding breakfast is such a special part of the day, and the right music can really lift the whole atmosphere.

Instead of just background noise, I’ll create a playlist that suits you – whether that’s relaxed acoustics, soulful classics, or something a bit more laid-back. It adds a lovely feel to the room while everyone’s dining.

As the meal goes on, it often builds naturally – guests singing along, smiling, and really getting into it. It’s a subtle way to bring energy into the room and set things up perfectly for the evening ahead.

DO I NEED A DJ FOR THE AFTERNOON?

In short – no, it’s not essential, but it does make a real difference.

Having music during your wedding breakfast adds a lovely atmosphere and helps everything feel more relaxed and put together. It also means I’m there to support the flow of the day, with microphones ready so your speeches come through clearly and everyone can enjoy those special moments.

DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT...

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When I arrive at your venue, I allow up to 90 minutes to set everything up properly. This gives me time to make sure everything looks just right, along with a full sound and safety check so everything runs perfectly.

I’ve worked in all sorts of venues, so I’m used to adapting my setup to suit the space. My full setup (as pictured) looks best with around 6 metres of width to really show it off, but if space is tighter, I can scale things down while still keeping everything looking clean, stylish, and high quality.

To ensure optimal performance and safety, I require access to two dedicated 13-amp power sockets exclusively for my equipment.

Absolutely.

For peace of mind, I have £10 million Public Liability Insurance in place, so you, your guests, and your venue are fully covered.

All of my equipment is also PAT tested, which means it’s been checked and confirmed safe to use.

I’m always happy to provide proof of both to your venue if needed.

I like to get to know every couple I work with, so we’ll always start with a call or a quick meet-up to make sure I’m the right fit for your day.

From there, you can stay in touch as much as you like - I’m always here if you have questions or ideas. Closer to the wedding, we’ll go through everything in detail together to make sure it’s all perfectly lined up.

Yes - I’ll be your DJ on the day, and your point of contact throughout. From your first enquiry right through to the final song, it’s all handled by me.

I’m always just a call or message away, and fully focused on making sure everything feels exactly how you want it.

Guests are welcome to request songs on the evening, where appropriate - though I always apply professional discretion to ensure every song maintains the tone, energy, and elegance of your celebration.

If you’d like to go ahead, securing your date is simple. I’ll send over a booking agreement along with a 25% booking fee to confirm everything in my diary.

The booking fee is non-refundable, as it secures your date, with the remaining balance due 14 days before your wedding.

The agreement itself is clear and straightforward, making sure everything is agreed in advance so you can feel completely at ease.

This is where things really become personal. Your wedding day should reflect you, and the music is a huge part of that. While I bring a wide knowledge of music across all genres and eras, it’s your favourite songs and special moments that matter most.

That’s why I give you access to your own music planning portal, where you and your guests can help shape the soundtrack. You can add your first dance, must-plays, songs you love, and even anything you’d rather avoid.

It’s a simple way to make sure the music feels completely personal - and exactly how you want it.

A DMX-controlled light show adds a really polished feel to your evening. Everything is programmed and timed properly, so the lighting enhances the moment rather than distracting from it — especially during key parts like your first dance.

Instead of random patterns, you get smooth colour changes, soft washes, and lighting that works beautifully with your photos. Using high-end moving lights, I can highlight special moments or match your venue to your chosen colours, creating a clean, cohesive look throughout the night.

Great sound and guest comfort are really important to me. I’m used to working within venue sound limits, including noise limiters and AVC systems, so everything runs smoothly while staying within the rules.

If you ever want the volume adjusted, just let me know - I’ll always work around what feels right for you and your guests. I’m also mindful of the venue and surroundings, gently easing things down towards the end of the night where needed.

If you’d like to keep the party going without any volume restrictions, I can also offer a luxury Silent Disco - a really fun and memorable way to finish the night.

I’ve spent years working alongside some great wedding and event suppliers, so I’m used to fitting in seamlessly and helping everything run smoothly from start to finish.

I also love working with live musicians, whether that’s a band or a sax player and creating something that feels really joined up musically. If you’re looking for recommendations, I’m always happy to suggest people I trust.

Your day is too important to leave anything to chance, so I always bring backup equipment for all the key parts of my setup. In the unlikely event something goes wrong, everything carries on without you even noticing.
