Evie & Grace’s 18th Birthday

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Evie & Grace’s elegant 18th birthday celebration — a truly special evening and my first visit to the beautiful Brunswick in Shanklin. Mandy first reached out to me in January, where we discussed the vision for the night, including a carefully curated musical journey tailored to the twins.

To complement the stunning balloon installation by Denise at The Party Shop, I selected lighting tones that seamlessly enhanced the overall aesthetic of the venue, creating a stylish and cohesive atmosphere.

The evening began with an ambient blend of current chart-toppers and nostalgic throwbacks, gradually evolving into feel-good ’80s favourites — striking the perfect balance for all generations in the room. As the energy built, we moved into guest-requested dance hits and even a touch of country, ensuring everyone had a reason to be on the dance floor.

With a venue sound curfew of 11pm, the celebration didn’t stop there. To keep the energy high and the festivities flowing, I partnered with Hush Silent Disco Company, transitioning the final hour into an exclusive Silent Disco experience — allowing guests to dance through to midnight without missing a beat.
